My Journey

Five years ago until now.

I've not always written stories that... I would take pride in showcasing. I started off by hand-writing an unfinished Percy Jackson rip-off, wrote several other (equally trashy) fantasies, including a web series that got a decent amount of traction on voyce.me. But it was after that failure that I began to work on The False Samaritan - my current work in progress - and my love for writing, and my style of writing, and my style of telling stories in general - vastly changed.

I have little to my name in terms of published works. But I have works of prose, two anthologies/short story series, published on medium. My prose style isn’t the most… orthodox. It’s not quite avant-garde, but I like to use a lot of paragraph breaks for effect, and a lot of use of the gerund (a verb functioning as a noun). I also tend to dive into a lot of direct description of emotion on top of the outside world. Characters are incredibly important to my stories, so I need to make sure you can really, fully get into their heads. Here, I have a selection of my more recent works of short fiction, as well as a short hook for my work in progress. Read at your pleasure!

"The 50 Conditions" Anthology

"Wow, this was fantastic. Not expected to be captivated by it, but found myself lost in the writing."

A world record; the longest time in which one has written a short story every day. A single-word prompt, every morning, for 50 days.

Other Short Stories

“Writing that evokes an emotional response."

A collection of smaller one-shots, where I mainly practice prose.

  • The Last Note

  • An Assassin's Guilt

  • The Salem Trial

  • The Talisman

  • Never Alone on Christmas Eve

H.O.M.E

“I really like how this is coming together. It's beautifully written.“

A ravaged land. Two children. An escape. Escape - a mad dashing away from everything they know, and into the tarnished wilderness. But a silent tension wriggles between them; a silent, unspeakable truth that runs right to the core of their ‘friendship’.

The False Samaritan

“Once in a lifetime experience.”

Change, or suffer - that was the ultimatum he received. An aristocrat, prideful, the lowest of the low, is assassinated and thrust into a vast, incomprehensible world that does all but cherish him. But that all begins to change when he crosses paths with the reincarnation of the maid that served him in his past life.
